Islam sering menganjurkan umatnya untuk banyak bersedekah. Oleh yang demikian, sudah menjadi satu budaya di Harwood Timber Sdn Bhd untuk mengamalkan amalan sedekah.. Sepanjang tahun, tabung Waqaf\/Sedekah 2019\/2020 memainkan peranan yang penting bagi mengumpul dana bantuan untuk golongan yang memerlukan di sekitar kawasan Kuching, Samarahan, Lundu dan Sematan. Selain daripada pihak syarikat dan kakitangan Harwood, sumbangan daripada pihak umum juga memainkan peranan yang penting dalam menjayakan program waqaf\/sedekah di bulan Ramadhan ini.<\/p><p>Pada bulan Ramadhan 1440 Hijrah (tahun 2019 Masihi), seramai 26 buah rumah asnaf, sebuah tahfiz dan pusat penjagaan anak anak mualaf. telah menerima bantuan sumbangan dalam bentuk barangan keperluan dapur di sekitar Kuching.
