International Day of Forests Bowling Tournament continued this year with the comeback of all top players from various agencies such as Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) , Harwood Timber , Sarawak Forestry Corporation and Sarawak Timber Association .
On Wednesday , 22nd of March 2017 , Harwood Timber (Women) won first runner up for this year tournament meanwhile for the VIP Category , Harwood representatives , Tuan Haji Abu Hassan and Encik Awang Khairul Adzhar won first and second runner up respectively . Cik Hajah Saptuyah , Puan Siti Hazelina , Cik Sinoriati and Puan Kistinawati managed to be the number two in the women category with a total score of 1256 points .
The annual tournament features a series of challenges in 3 categories , Women Open , Men Open and VIP . It was held at Megalanes Adventure World , Kuching . For overall category , Harwood Timber scored 2509 points and that makes them the 5th out of 6 teams . Sarawak Forestry Corporation , FORESSA and STIDC wonf first , second and third place respectively.
With the success of the tournament , we hope to see more participation from all agencies and we look forward to compete healthily in the next future .
